This is one of the most absurd movies that I have ever sat through. I cannot believe what a waste of top talent went into this movie. I do not see what they possibly could've seen that was redeeming in the screenplay. This is for pre-adolescent teens who just want to see debauchery.

The first time I watched it I thought it was totally enjoyable. The second time I watched I thought it's also really quite forgettable and a bit monotonous. So maybe it's only good for one watch. It can often depend on how you're feeling too, as to how you receive a film on any particular time. I think it's a contrived comedy film. The lead character has a lot of snide comments about things. It reminds me of Ferris Bueller in some ways. The Poster has Selena Gomez on it but she's a very incidental character to the plot. It shows the target audience. I however like and know the two female leads, mainly Elizabeth Shue whom I remember from the 80s and the chick from Weeds. What's his name from Earl is wasted. In fact that's the thing about this film, it's all over the shop in terms of a coherent story line. That is fatiguing to watch.

This is a slightly better than normal teen-age sex comedy due to the all-star cast, but it is still a teen sex comedy. The film centers around Rick Stevens (Nat Wolff) student of the William Henry Harrison High School. GO HAMSTERS! He is infatuated by pudgy Nina Pennington (Selena Gomez) and on a bet needs to bed her by Arbor Day. Nina is a religious girl who likes Satanic music and wants to be a priest.

Rick's mom (Mary-Louise Parker) goes to rehab drunk. His dad (Cary Elwes) stays away. His sister (Ashley Rickards) is a stripper who wants to go to Stanford. Through a number of circumstances both Rick and the movie go on a Bender (Elisabeth Shue) as the production takes advantage of the MILF craze.

The humor is over the top, crude, and at times funny too. In fact it tries too hard to be funny which is perhaps its downfall as it doesn't engage the audience into thinking. Good film for those who like sex romps.
